Lewis Celebrates Red Ribbon Week
October 12-16th, 2015
Red Ribbon Week is a national event that promotes drug awareness and prevention each year. At Lewis, it is a special time for our students, staff, parents, and community to commit themselves to leading a healthy and drug-free life, and to present a unified and visible representation of that commitment. The following themes and activities have been planned for each day of the week. We hope you will join us in celebrating and modeling healthy choices!
MONDAY – Join the TEAM against drugs! – Wear your favorite team shirt or jersey.
TUESDAY – Give Drugs the Boot! – Wear your favorite pair of boots to school to help us stomp out drugs.
WEDNESDAY — Hats off to a drug-free life! – Wear your favorite hat to school today.
THURSDAY – Let’s sock it to drugs! – Wear your silliest socks to school today.
FRIDAY – Drug-Free Friday! – Wear RED today and pledge to live the healthy way!
Each day, the class with the highest participation in each grade level will have their picture featured on the morning news! We hope to see YOU in some of those photos!
